The profesional kiteboarding center of Naxos, Kite Square, invites you to discover the world of kiteboarding.
Kite Square is located in Mikri Vigla in Naxos, one of the most beautiful islands in the cyclades of the mediteranean sea. Its local wind, the Meltem, has made its reputation around the world as one of the most consistent winds on the planet earth.
The wind direction is side on shore, making it a safe place for a beginner to start. Its white sands and dunes will make the pleasure of all. Furthermore, the greek cuisine has no more to prove for its exquisite reputation in delicious plates low in cholesterol!

Mikri Vigla
Mikri Vigla Hotel in Mikri Vigla, on the Island of Naxos Greece The Mikri Vigla Hotel is on a fine beach in the south-west of the island, only a few kilometres from the busy, cosmopolitan town of Naxos. The appearance of its exterior is based on the traditional motif of Cycladic architecture - in contrast with its interior, which is modern and functional.
Student Courses
Either a novice, or an experienced rider, Kite Square awaits you to either start your training or complete your certification. Remember, kiteboarding is easy and safe when learnt with professionals. We guarantee you will have a great time! All our students leave Kite Square at the end of their course with an IKO certification card. All the instructors are IKO certified and follow the highest quality standards. Courses can either be done either in Russian, English, French and Greek.
Kite Center
Welcome to the professional Kiteboarding Center in Naxos: Kite Square. Located in Mikri Vigla, Kite Square is established on the premises of the Hotel Mikri Vigla, one of the windiest locations in Greece. The school is affiliated to the IKO, the international kiteboarding association. All instructors from the center are trained according to the best IKO quality standards.
Instructor Courses
Kite Square organises each year Instructor Training Courses (ITC) in order to certify IKO instructors for kiteboarding activity. Kite Square also organises first aid courses from the Medic First Aid certification programme. Instructor Equivalency Course (IEC) are also organised for IKO Kiteboarding instructors Level 1 or 2 who want to become certified kiteboarding instructors level 1 with the opportunity to become IKO instructor level 2.
